Well done to the winners of our recent 2 week event which saw the Restricted section fielding 8 pairs and the Open 20 Pairs. At the time of publication, 50 pairs are registered for Saturday 15 September 2018 and 28 teams for Sunday 16 September 2018 - and entries are still open. Cost for each event is $40 per player, payable on the day, and a light lunch will be provided on both days.
Once a year, our club competes with Taree Bridge Club for the coveted Bruce Hunter trophy. This year, congratulations go to Taree who won with a convincing 26 matches to our 20. Many members from both clubs commented positively on the friendly rivalry.

Congratulations to the winning team of our recent 2-week Swiss teams competition: Gail Salmon, Margaret Boniface, Daphne Yarnold and Megan Grant (pictured). Theirs was an outstanding performance over the 6 rounds, with 5 wins, 1 draw and no losses - well done!
After a hearty and hard fought competition, Henry Hudson and Bronwyn Boehm clinched the win from Wayne and Fran Carroll (pictured), with Les Marks and Pam Lawrence placing a close third.
