GLBC members do well again in regional congress

Many of our members venture out beyond the safety and familiarity of our club to other competitions and congresses – and often represent us very well! Last weekend, Megan Grant, Margaret Boniface, Maretta Callow and Susan Eishauer placed 8th (out of 30 teams) in the Port Macquarie March Congress — bringing home the Category C (restricted) money prize and beating many Category A and B teams to boot! Regional and larger congresses may be daunting and challenging at first but they are fun and social, and will ultimately improve your bridge game. Consider making up a pair or a team for an upcoming event in our region listed below (or see more on the clubhouse noticeboard and on the NSW Bridge Association website – Congresses page). Who knows – you may even win a prize!
