Locals Triumph in 2025 Country Teams Regional Final
On Sunday 18 May 2025, Great Lakes Bridge Club (GLBC) hosted this year's regional final of the NSW Country Teams. Following a full day's hard-fought competition, GLBC-2 had a clear win with Port-2's team placing second, both with 5 wins out of 8 matches. The four top teams will compete in the zone final in Coffs Harbour at the end of June 2025. We wish them luck!
Mention goes to our own newest director, Denise Marr, who gave up a very long Sunday to assist Director John McIlraith. She also organised goodies to eat and drink, and ensured the day ran smoothly. Thanks Denise.
