Heads up - GLBC Congress planned for 2025

Yes, planning is underway for an (in-person!) bridge congress to be held at our clubhouse over the first weekend in March next year. The pairs event will run on Saturday 1 March and teams on Sunday 2 March 2025. Prizes (TBA) will be awarded to all levels of bridge: Novice (0-18 Masterpoints (MPs)); Low Intermediate (19-100MPs); Intermediate (101-400MPs) and Open. That means everyone is welcome to participate!

Catering for the Congress is to be outsourced. To fund this and the prize money (while hopefully keeping entry fees at a reasonable level) the Congress Committee will be seeking sponsorship ideas.
