'Next step' lessons

We're pleased to announce that our club and its wonderful volunteers Shirley & Sylvia will run a series of lessons for our 'post-kindergarten' players (in fact, anyone under 100 Masterpoints) on Tuesdays 2 - 4pm. Each series will run for 3 weeks and cover specific bidding sequences as well as declarer and defence play.

  • No Trumps - Stamen, transfers and coping with interference - starts 25 July 2023
  • Bidding a Suit - Part game, game and interference - starts 29 August 2023
  • Bidding a Big Hand (High Points) - strong opening bids, responses, Slam bids (Ace asks) and interference - starts 26 September 2023
