Vale Nigel Harman

With much sadness, we say farewell to Nigel Harman who passed away aged 85 years on 1 June 2022. He was a relatively new bridge player, catching the 'bridge bug' from our own GLBC lessons four years ago. His enthusiasm for the game saw him progress, attempting competitions and events that others at his level often find daunting.

A true gentleman, Nigel also contributed in other ways, lending his financial expertise and assistance to the running of our club. Further to his short but passionate uptake of our game, Nigel had mentioned that he often appreciated the friendship and support our members showed him.
