2021 is off and running

The information below has been emailed to GLBC members

Our GLBC committee met on 14 January 2021 and discussed ongoing requirements whilst functioning under COVID-19 restrictions.

Our current timetable has seen healthy attendances for each of our 3 weekly sessions: Mondays and Wednesdays (1pm start) and Thursdays (9am start). There remains a 10 table limit and registration is essential - via the Entry tab above.

  • The email confirming your registration contains a link should you wish to change or delete your entry. Or contact the club / Sylvia.
  • Check for withdrawals the day before the game if you have missed out.

Further to these games, free beginners' bridge lessons start on Tuesday 9 February 2021 and will run weekly from 1 to 3pm for 7 weeks. For those interested, contact Dick Barry on 6554 7256 and spread the word!

Red Points normally allocated to January competitions will be awarded to winners of 3 randomly selected games in February, one each for Monday, Wednesday and Thursday. Be in it to win it!

Unfortunately, the morning or afternoon tea options remain restricted due to ongoing COVID-19 regulations. The committee has offered to organise someone to dispense boiling water if you BYO cup/mug and spoon, coffee/tea, sugar and milk.

Finally, we're glad to be receiving membership fees - due by the end of January 2021. Pay at the club or online (see bank details below but include your name as space allows e.g. joeblogs). Or contact Shirley Craig if you are having trouble.
