Return to club bridge! Trial game next Wednesday 14 October 2020

Great news - we're trialling a return to club games next Wednesday! Play begins at 1pm.

Before you register to play, please read all of the information below. It is very important that we adhere to all of the COVID-19 regulations.

There will be only 5 tables (to play a 5 board Mitchell movement of 5 boards/round).

Only GLBC members are eligible and attendance must booked on line at our club website (click on the sidebar or 'ENTRY' tab above, go to Trial COVID game). If your partnership does not have access to our website you may call Ken on:  0432 543 421 and he will assist.

CONDITIONS OF ENTRY: at the GLBC clubhouse on 14 October:

·      Compulsory Temperature check

·      Fill out Health Check Form

·      Fill out Registration – Name and contact phone number or email address

·      Table fees collected at Entry (cash or vouchers) – correct monies  - no change will be given

·      Sanitise hands at point of entry

·      Bring your own pen.

·      Provide your OWN MORNING OR AFTERNOON TEAS – both refreshments and food. Water Cooler is not to be used.

·      Observe social distancing.

·      The wearing of masks is optional. The club will provide masks for directors and volunteer helpers, others must provide their own.

·       All toilet facilities must be sanitised after each use with the materials supplied.  All cleaning materials to be binned – not flushed.  3 players may be in the Ladies Room and 2 in the Gents at any one time. The main door of the Ladies will be left open.

·       Air Con will not be used … the North/South windows will be open.

·       No Club shawls will be available.

DURING THE GAME:

·       The first session will be directed by Ken Bridges.

·       An official break will be called by the Director after 3 rounds.  Players are to remain seated at their current table for the break – do not sit at other tables they will have to be cleaned!

·       Calling the movements - the Director will request East to move firstly, then West.  Do not move until requested.

·       Sanitiser will be at each table, use it at your discretion.

·       Label your own cushion and set aside for your exclusive use.

·       Each player will be given their own bidding pad. It should be moved to each table as required and left on the table at the end of the day. A player may name their own pad for future games.

AFTER THE GAME: the following procedures must be completed:

·       All tables and chairs must be sanitised by the last players at each table - using materials provided

·       Toilet facilities must be checked and cleaned as deemed necessary by Director or delegate

·       All players must leave the club building to socialise
