2019 NSW State Wide Pairs - results are in!

Congratulations to Fran & Wayne Carroll (65%) on their 17th place out of over 460 competitors in this event! Special mention also goes to Ann Kynaston & Bronwyn Boehm (59%) at 62nd and Les Marks & Pamela Lawrence (58%) at 67th. Yet again our club punches above its weight! See link below for full results.

This year’s NSW State Wide Pairs runs for one session ending the first week in August, our club ran this on 29 July with a good gathering of 30 pairs. The event will be scored across 27 participating clubs, affording cash prizes and Bridge Shop gift vouchers, and certificates for the winners in each club. Prizes are also awarded in the restricted divisions of Under 25, Under 50 and Under 100 Masterpoints (as at 30th June 2019). Red Masterpoints at Level B4s awarded to pairs finishing in the top half of the field overall. Pre-dealt hands were provided together with a booklet featuring brief commentary on each deal for perusal at the completion of the session.
