Update - lockdown continues plus notes from committee meeting
The information below is summarised from an email sent to GLBC members
COVID-19 restrictions: Our clubhouse will remain closed while the current stay-at-home orders are in place. When able to resume face-to- face games again, we will play standard duplicate games. Competitions as per our calendar/diary will be postponed until further notice. There is no need to alter any online registrations at this stage.
New Email Address: Please take note of our changed email address general@greatlakesbridgeclub.org. This may be used soon in future emails to members - check your Spam/Junk mail just in case (and mark 'not junk/spam').
Australia-Wide Open Pairs - Postponed: Organisers hope to run this alongside their Restricted Pairs event in October 2021.
COVID-19 scan card: If you are unable to check in to our club (when we open again) via the QR code system on mobile phones, this link will enable you to register for (and/or print off) a personal scan card via ServiceNSW - https://apply.service.nsw.gov.au/covid-checkin-card/. This card (sent via post) may be used in all other venues - shops, cafes etc
Correct table fees : we cannot change large notes for table fees - please bring the correct money or purchase vouchers
ABF Promotions: Congratulations to Phyll Daniel (to Club Master), Christine Dunn (to Regional Master) and Bev Daniel (to Bronze State Master)
New Member: Welcome to Carolyn Moore who has just joined our club.
Stay safe and sane, and remember: the hardest part of a 7-day COVID lockdown is the first 3 weeks....
